Denim jackets have always been a wardrobe staple for me. Last summer, this tie dye one was my favorite. And I totally rocked a totally classic style on my trip to Italy. My new favorite way to wear a denim jacket is this cute short sleeve denim jacket. I've seen some girls wear them almost like a cropped top with nothing underneath. This is a little too revealing for my style, but I do think it looks cute. I chose to style mine really simply with a cute little back t-shirt dress. It has a draw waist to really accentuate my shape. I also love that the jacket is cropped because cropped jackets hit right above the waist to create that hourglass shape. Since the outfit is pretty boring, I added some metallic sandals and a bright and boldly shaped little red bag. This is such a simple look but I think it works so well for casual summer days. Most days, you'll find me in an easy cotton dress like this. I try to find one that has a bit more detail, which is why I love this one. It has a little patch pocket at the chest and the drawstring helps to accentuate my waist.
