I try to keep an eye on fashion trends, and one easy way I stay updated is knowing the new 2016 Pantone color of the year. For 2016, there are two colors: Rose Quartz and Serenity. The blush pink and the periwinkle blue are quite a departure from the 2015 Marsala color. I personally love both colors for 2016, so I started web browsing to see what was already out there. I quickly realized rose quartz is everywhere -- sweaters, dresses -- every accessory you can imagine is available in rose quartz! My mom and I were recently chatting about the rosy hue, as they recently sold their home, decorated in a flurry of floral prints, featuring BOTH rose quartz AND serenity! Yes, we know all fashion trends come around again, so nearly 30 years later, they are the 'it' colors once again.
