The high contrast, black and white trend for this spring is easily my favorite. Vogue featured black and white checks seen on the runways at Balmain, Ralph Lauren and Rodarte. While Harper’s Bazaar showcased the sportier side of black and white on the runways at Narciso Rodriguez and Rag and Bone, among others. I love the black and white trend because it is timeless. Black and white pieces are versatile and rarely look dated, even if you’ve owned them for years (assuming you take good care of your clothes, so they are free of stains or color fading!). Whether you like color-blocking, prints or lace, there are so many great black and white options out there this spring. Here are just a few of my favorites.
