Last summer, I distinctly remember seeing this black and white striped dress, but they were constantly sold out of my size. I even went to a few different stores to try to find it. They also sold out online too. Then, a couple weeks ago, I saw the dress in the store again. It must have been popular last summer that they brought the exact same dress back for another run this summer. But I totally get why they did. Black and white stripes are classic and timeless. The shape of the dress is just slightly a-line with a flutter sleeve and hem. It has a belt at the waist, which creates that perfect hourglass shape. It's basically the perfect black and white striped dress. {Stacey's Look: Dress; Heels (similar); Headband; Sunglasses; Purse (similar); Lip Color} I wasn't sure whether or not I'd like the dress on me because of the fact that the stripes are horizontal. Normally, it's much more flattering to wear stripes that are vertical or in more of a chevron pattern. However, this dress works because the shape and the tie waist create the perfect shape. This dress is also perfect for travel or running around with my kids because it's made out of cotton, doesn't really wrinkle, and is machine washable. You can't get much better than that for a mom on the go. I also love that this dress can work well for work but can easily be dressed down with flat sandals. If you're looking to add a black and white striped dress to your wardrobe, this is the dress for you. It's also totally affordable.
