Ice Skating in Los Angeles

1. Holiday Ice at Pershing Square

Located at Pershing Square in the heart of downtown LA. Open daily from November 23, 2022, through January 8, 2023
General Admission: $20 (includes skate rental and one hour of skating)
Locker Rental: $5

2. Ice at Santa Monica

Located on the corner of Fifth Street and Arizona Avenue, Santa Monica offers another ice skating rink in Los Angeles.
ICE RINK SEASON: November 17, 2022 – January 16, 2023
SKATE RENTAL & ALL-DAY ADMISSION:$20
GENERAL HOURS OF OPERATION: Open Daily, 12 noon – 10 p.m.
CONCESSIONS:& Delicious bites are provided on-site by two Downtown Santa Monica restaurants, Cafe Ugo and Stefano’s Pizzeria. Enjoy handmade pizza and gelato, specialty hot chocolates, and more.

SPECIAL EVENTS & THEMED NIGHTS
ICE YOGA | JAN 5 & 10
Local instructor, Austin Hollingshead, will lead a full-body yoga class directly on the ice for a group of attendees to experience the beloved rink as never before. Limited space is available. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Details and tickets HERE.

SKATING A FINE LINE: HARRY’S (ICE) HOUSE | JAN 12
It’s a pop party at the ice rink! Guests are encouraged to wear their best pop star attire and spend the evening getting groovy and skating in style. The first 200 guests to arrive at the ice rink receive a free feather boa. More info.

3. LA Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. LIVE

Located at L.A. LIVE this Los Angeles ice skating rink is open from November 26, 2022 – January 8, 2023.
Hours: Daily 4 PM – Midnight (4 sessions) 4PM – 6PM, 6:30PM – 8PM, 8:30PM – 10PM, 10:30PM – 12AM
Tickets: General – $25 per person; Children (6 and under) – $20 per person

4. Skating in the Park – Ranchos Palos Verdes

Ranch Palos Verdes brings back its popular outdoor synthetic ice skating rink right near the beach, with festive activities planned throughout the holiday season. Spectators are welcome, but advance reservations are strongly recommended for skating. 
Open: December 16, 2022 – January 8, 2023
Admission: $10 per session, skates included

5. LA Kings Ice (other locations around LA Area)

We visited the LA Kings Ice location in Rolling Hills. They have several ice skating rinks in Los Angeles locations in Burbank, El Segundo, Mammoth Lakes, Paramount, and Santa Clarita. They offer open skating times as well as memberships, depending on how much you plan to skate during the year. Here is information on their holiday hours and public skating in PV. Ice Skating in Orange County

6. Irvine Spectrum Skating Under the Stars

Located in Orange County, Irvine Spectrum offers ice skating. Even though this isn’t a skating rink in Los Angeles, it’s a quick drive to Irvine during the holidays (when there isn’t too much traffic) and it’s a great area to shop, dine and skate.
Dates: November 4, 2022 – January 1, 2023
Cost: $25 per person including skates; $45 to jump the line; $21 for children and seniors, including skates.

7. Pasea Hotel Ice Rink by the Beach 

The 3rd annual Ice Rink at Paséa Hotel & Spa returns this year from November 25 – January 1 with oceanfront ice skating, reserved firepit experiences, theme nights, holiday cocktails and bites, group skate sessions, performances, and more holiday delights.
Cost: $35, includes skate rental

8. Surf City Winter Wonderland

The Huntington Beach Holiday Ice Rink is open daily between November 18 and January 8, 2023. Ice skating tickets are available for sessions throughout the day for ages 3 and up.
Location: 325 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, California 92648.
Dates: Nov 18, 2022 – Jan 8, 2023
Cost: $22 including skate rental

Ice Skating in Lake Arrowhead

9. Christmas at Santa’s Village Lake Arrowhead

During the winter months, you can head up to Lake Arrowhead. Moreover, ice skating at SkyPark at Santa’s Village is available from November 17 – January 8 for some Christmas ice skating.
Hours: Vary – but generally 10-6
Cost: $69+
