I recently got this adorable red and gold dress and it’s giving me all of the fall vibes. I really love the flowy sleeves and the knee-length is flattering. As I was looking through the photos from our shoot, I realized this is the perfect fall dress to wear to a wedding. I wish I had somewhere to wear it. The reason I think this dress is perfect for a fall wedding is not only the colors but also the fit. A deep red with gold flowers definitely feels very fall-like. I also think the fit is perfect for a wedding because it’s classy and not too revealing. Yet, it’s also very comfortable. The dress has a stretchy lining and then is overlayed with the lacy material. The fact that it is knee length and also has full coverage up top means I’ll be comfortable on the dance floor and also won’t feel too cold if the wedding is outdoors. I personally think it’s best to wear something pretty but not too revealing to a wedding. You may end up in a lot of photos and a dress like this will photograph well and also ensure you’re not showing too much in photos.
To style this look, I added gold sandals and a metallic clutch. I kept the jewelry simple, although I did add a dangly earring. The dress already has a lot of shin with gold flowers, so I wanted to keep the accessories neutral. In this case, gold is actually a neutral!
