One of my favorite fall fashion staples is sweater dresses. That’s why I decided I should also try out sweater two piece sets. I wasn’t sure that sweater sets would work on me since I thought the skirts in sweater material would be too clingy. I was pleasantly surprised that they worked even better than I imagined. These matching sweater skirt sets are a new wardrobe staple for me and I think you should try them too. 

One of the major reasons I love the matching sets is that you get two items of clothing for the price of one. The skirt can be worn with a completely different top and the sweater can be paired with jeans or leggings. I also love the monochromatic vibe of the matching set.

I wasn’t sure about this brown color – it’s almost like a mustard brown. Also, I’ve noticed that rust-brown color is pretty popular for fall. Honestly, I wasn’t sure the color would work on me, but I think it works ok. I do love the idea of pairing the skirt with a sleek black top or body suit. I love that I can wear the skirt very high on my waist.

To style this look, I chose to tuck in the sweater because I thought it was more flattering. Otherwise, the sweater hit at the widest part of my hips and looked a little too bulky. I paired the sweater two piece set with pointed suede heels and a matching brown cross-body bag.
