Here are 10 Black Floral Dresses That I Love

I found this dress at Target the other day and I quickly knew I needed it. I love the stirred, stretchy bodice and the ties at the shoulders. It’s super lightweight and so easy to throw on over a swimsuit or a grocery store run. Because I love this one so much (and it’s unsurprisingly sold out), I thought I’d share some other great black floral dresses with you.

In the summer, I tend to opt for dresses more than any other clothing. I like dresses best for a couple of reasons. First, I think they always look way more put together than shorts. Even though I’m spending most of my time at home (and on zoom calls for work), I know I feel better if I look better. I feel like a better version of myself when I’m wearing a cute dress.

This, of all the black floral dresses I’ve seen, is extra special because it has fun details too. The little bow ties at the shoulders are so sweet. I also love the little tiered ruffle details down the skirt. The bodice is also that ultra-stretchy material that conforms to your body. Since this is a pretty flowy dress, it’s helpful that the top is more fitted. Babydoll dresses are cute, but they are less flattering on my curvy frame. That’s why I try to find pieces that are fitted on the top and float away at the skirt.

As for styling, I decided to pair this with my favorite black heels and a black clutch. I’ve also worn this dress with flat black sandals as a swimsuit coverup. It’s such a great dress because it can be worn so many different ways. If I threw a black blazer on top, it could be a work look. With sneakers and a denim jacket, it could work for a trip to Disneyland (when it reopens).
