On my recent trip to Puerto Vallarta, I wanted to have some fun, flowy pieces. I knew it was going to be hot, and I knew I wanted to be comfortable but put together. I started searching for tassel dresses because I thought the little tassels just felt like a fun touch perfect for a Mexican vacation. Of all the cute tassel dresses, I opted for this green Maxi because I love the army green color and I also think it’s a great choice to transition from summer to fall.

It’s still quite warm in sunny southern California, but I know fall is around the corner. This dress is great for the end of summer to fall because it still looks great on its own, but looks equally good with a cropped jacket. I have worn it with a jean jacket and also a shorter cream-colored jacket I have. Adding a jacket works great for cooler nights. I also think adding a cropped cardigan would work well for a work look when the temps are a little more fall-like.

I’m headed to Turks and Caicos next month, so I’m actually looking to add a few more tassel dresses to my wardrobe. The one I chose is so subtle. The tassels are at the bottom, so you almost don’t even notice them. I’d like to add another one or two that are a bit more festive for my Carribean vacation.
