Here is How to Style Head Scarves For Women

This post is sponsored by Box of Style. All opinions are my own.

Before I get too far into this post about head scarves and how to use wear and style a scarf in your hair, I wanted to make sure you knew that I’m giving away the newest Box of Style. The giveaway ends soon, so make sure you enter.

The spring edition of Box of Style is better than ever. The very best part for me was the cool scarf that came in the box. It’s a fun animal print, but not overly dramatic or graphic. I really prefer a subtle animal print anyway.

When the scarf arrived, I thought about styling it more traditionally. It could work well around the neck, but could also work as a belt, or tied on a handbag. However, I liked the idea of turning it into a head band of sorts.

To create the head scarf, I started by rolling the scarf into a thin band. Then, I placed the middle part of the long roll in the middle of my head. I wrapped the ends around the back. The scarf is so long, that I could actually wrap it around to the front, and that’s where I tied a knot in the middle. Once I tied a knot then I cross-crossed the two ends and tucked them behind my ears. It created a bit of a double-knot on top, which is totally in style right now.

I chose to wear my hair down, but it could also work to wear a top knot or a ponytail. If you don’t want to use a scarf, and prefer one of the faux head wraps out there, no worries. There are so many cute headbands and head scarves for sale right now. Here are some of my current favorites.
