Can I Have All 9 of These Stunning Red Purses This Fall? + Sephora Giveaway

Clearly from the headline, I have a current obsession with red purses. I realized, I mostly just own black purses, with a few other neutral purses thrown in. I have two grey purses, two white purses, maybe 10 black purses, and a few other colored clutches. But I don’t have any red purses! I had a red Balenciaga a couple years ago, but I loved it so much, it got worn out.

So I’ve been searching for the next red handbag for my collection, but so far, I haven’t settled on one. When I do shop for purses, I usually try to consider resale options first. I’m a big fan of high-end resale for a couple reasons. First, I really do like designer items. The quality of designer items is usually better, but not always. Usually, high end items will have better leather, for starters, and often other design elements that make them a bit more special. The other major reason I like high-end resale is that I can save money but still get the designer items I crave. I don’t mind if the purse has minor defects, which will save me hundreds. I only buy lightly used items, so they are like new when I get them.

One other reason I like high-end resale is that it’s actually better for the environment too. Reusing items means they won’t end up in the landfill and there is less need for production of new items. I personally feel better about reusing an item if I can.

There are several sites I visit for high-end resale. The ones I check most often include: Fashionphile, eBay, ReBag, Yoogi’s Closet, Bag Borrow or Steal, and The Real Real. I actually prefer eBay over the others, because you normally have the chance to bid on items or even offer a lower price. The other sites function like standard retailers, so there’s no bartering. I have purchased from Bag Borrow or Steal in the past and the Real Real as well. Actually, I prefer the Real Real the least because their items are often final sale. I like the option of being able to return. I recently purchased from Rebag and they allow returns, which is so convenient.

If you’re also interested in resale, here are 9 of my favorite red purses for fall. I still haven’t settled on one, but I’m going to keep an eye out for online deals and eBay options!
