Here is a Simple No Makeup Look Tutorial

Do you ever get tired of applying makeup every day? I know I do. Ladies, I get it, we are all super busy! But even wearing just a little makeup makes such a big difference. If you think you are too busy to wear makeup, this no makeup look tutorial is for you.

I love wearing makeup, but there are a lot of days, especially in the summer, when I don’t feel like wearing much on my face. This no makeup look tutorial takes me less than 5 minutes to apply. Plus, it’s the perfect go-to-makeup-look when I don’t feel like wearing much but still want to look put together.

This no makeup look is perfect for busy women who don’t feel like they have time to invest in applying makeup. One of my good friends doesn’t wear much makeup. Recently, we were playing around with makeup and I showed her what a difference just applying blush can make.

1. Apply an Age-Defying Serum

If you do nothing else, you should always apply a quality skincare serum right when you get out of the shower or after washing your face. It’s never too early to fight the signs of aging, and there’s nothing better than serums. I like this Bioelements Age Activist Clinical Youth Serum. I always add a layer of SPF 30 after I apply my serum. It’s so important to protect your skin from sun damage. Currently, I use this No7 SPF 30.

2. Use Concealer Sparingly

I am not a big fan of foundation, so I don’t use it! If you do love foundation, you could consider a multi-use foundation that also has SPF or primer built-in. Instead, I just use a concealer stick to cover my brown spots. the redness around my nose and the occasional blemish. For the last year or so, I’ve been using the Maybelline Fit Me! Shine-Free Foundation

3. Hide Dark Circles

Ever since I hit my 30s, I need to use a concealer under my eyes. I love the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Concealer Stick. It covers my dark circles and has good ingredients to help with signs of aging.

4. Add a Touch of Blush

If you skip the concealer and the mascara, fine with me, but don’t skip the blush! Blush adds so much warmth and life to your face and it literally takes seconds to apply. I love the NARS the Multiple Blush Stick

5. Use a Natural Lip Color

I don’t wear lipstick very often because I find it just too heavy. However, a little bit of lip color, like blush, adds brightness to your face. I like wearing this NARS matte lipstick pencil because it’s still really subtle, but adds the color I need.

6. Finish with Black Mascara

I hardly ever leave the house without mascara because it opens up my eyes so much. My eyelashes are stick-straight if I don’t first curl them and then add a couple coats of Rimmel London Mascara

  1. Thank you for this post! I have been trying my hand at nude makeups and did not have much look. But this no makeup look should work for me. And I agree about the mascara, they definitely give our eyes a certain pop!
