This was my first time visiting the Red Door Spa’s Biltmore location. I used to live near the Biltmore so I remember the original Red Door spa there. With a little bit of research, I found out they opened their current location more than 5 years ago. It is modern, elegant and even has a fancy coffee shop on the first floor so you can order drinks while you get your treatments.
The pedicure itself was great. They started by exfoliating my feet with a citrus grass salt scrub. Then, they massaged mint julep and lavender shea butter into my legs for really great hydration. It also smelled amazing. The aesthetician even gave me some to use on my hands and I admired the great smell. The next step included a paraffin treatment, which is hot wax inside of plastic bags which helps to seal in the moisture.
Overall, I really enjoyed the pedicure. The paraffin treatment is so relaxing. There is something about having hot wax around your feet that just feels so calming. If you’re looking for a top-notch, high-end pedicure, I would highly suggest the Mint Julep pedicure from Red Door Spas.
